New staff members and students wait outside the hall (Manuhiri).
A signal will be given for the visitors to start walking inside slowly. A space will be reserved down the door side of the hall (LDR will manage this).
Once the manuhiri sit down, the Karakia will begin.
NB: The people being welcomed are the visitors (manuhiri), until the end when they are visitors no longer.
